The Mathias El Tribe for a Better Future

Support The Mathias El Tribe Charitable Trust Today

We are a charitable organization working to support communities in need across the world. Our primary focus is on providing access to education, healthcare, and clean water to those who need it most. We believe that by investing in these basic necessities, we can help break the cycle of poverty and empower individuals to create a brighter future for themselves and their families. With your support, we can continue to make a positive impact on the world and help those in need.

METCIR—Mathias El Tribe’s Commitment to Indigenous People's Rights: At the heart of our mission lies METCIR—our pledge to Indigenous Rights. We’re committed to ensuring equal access to education, healthcare, and clean water for indigenous communities. Upholding METCIR’s principles means recognizing the sovereignty and rich cultural heritage of North America’s first peoples and supporting their quest for justice. We stand in solidarity that indigenous rights are essential, not optional. Your support enables us to advocate for these rights, striving for a future where indigenous peoples can sustain traditions and improve their quality of life.

Declaration of the Mathias El Tribe: Introduction & Identity

Our Mission

The Mathias El Tribe, a Choctaw Iksa of American Indians from Alabama, has a rich history rooted in the southeastern United States, including Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Virginia, and the Carolinas. These regions were historically home to cultures associated with the Mound Builders, Egyptians, and Mayans, recognized as copper-colored indigenous peoples.

The tribe's ancestors maintained their cultural heritage and identity through centuries of change, including the relocation of many members to places like Detroit, Michigan, during the 1956 Indian Relocation Act. Today, the Mathias El Tribe continues to honor their traditions and heritage, maintaining their strong presence as Choctaw people and preserving their identity. Bakersfield, California, is the seat of the tribal government. In 2023, the tribe established the State of Mathias El as their government seat.

The tribe maintains its inherent sovereignty and is recognized as a federally acknowledged tribe, affirming the continuous presence, identity, customs and traditions as indigenous people with historical roots and ties to the “South” and even broader parts of the Americas.

Currently, we are in the beginning stages of organizing our collective groups under the NIAC - National Indigenous American - Committee. Email us @ NIACunity@gmail.com to get involved .
