Our Mission

The Mathias El Tribe Charitable Trust exists to preserve, protect, and advance the cultural, spiritual, religious, and ancestral heritage of the Mathias El Tribe while supporting educational, health, humanitarian, and community initiatives that strengthen present and future generations.

Through our charitable programs, partnerships, and public engagement, we work diligently to preserve sacred history, safeguard traditional and spiritual knowledge, and protect Indigenous religious and ceremonial practices. We also expand educational opportunities, improve community wellness, and encourage responsible stewardship of cultural, spiritual, and community resources, aligning with our goals to support charitable causes that uplift the Mathias El Tribe.

Our Purpose

The Mathias El Tribe Charitable Trust was established to support various purposes encompassing religious, spiritual, charitable, educational, cultural, scientific, literary, and humanitarian actions. These initiatives benefit tribal members, Indigenous communities, and the broader public through programs that promote lasting community well-being.

In line with Article Third of the Trust’s February 10, 2024 Declaration of Trust, these purposes include religious and community-based spiritual belief practices, charitable assistance, scientific and literary advancement, education, and the preservation of Indigenous cultural and ancestral heritage.

The Trust recognizes that Indigenous cultural traditions, spiritual beliefs, religious practices, and ancestral responsibilities are interconnected. Accordingly, our charitable purposes encompass the preservation and transmission of sacred history, traditional ceremonies, spiritual knowledge, cultural teachings, and community practices that sustain the identity and continuity of the People.

These purposes coexist with the Trust’s educational, healthcare, humanitarian, and general-welfare initiatives. Charitable assistance is provided for public benefit without requiring beneficiaries to adopt or profess particular religious beliefs.

Our Areas of Focus - Heritage Preservation

We focus on preserving historical records, genealogy, language, oral traditions, cultural knowledge, sacred history, ancestral teachings, religious heritage, ceremonial traditions, and educational resources for present and future generations.

Our support extends to the documentation, protection, and intergenerational transmission of Indigenous identity, traditional knowledge, and cultural practices fundamental to the Mathias El Tribe.

Spiritual & Religious Heritage

We are committed to preserving and supporting the sincerely held spiritual beliefs, ancestral religious traditions, sacred ceremonies, and community-based spiritual practices of the Mathias El Tribe.
