Mission Statement

The Mathias El Tribe Charitable Trust is dedicated to promoting social welfare, cultural preservation, and community development initiatives for the benefit of the Mathias El Tribe and surrounding communities. Guided by our commitment to indigenous rights under METCIR, our mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities to thrive through education, health, economic development, and cultural enrichment programs.


Objectives


1. Social Welfare:

o Aid and support individuals and families in need, including access to necessities such as food, shelter, and healthcare, while upholding the principles of indigenous rights outlined in METCIR.


2. Cultural Preservation:

o Preserve and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Mathias El Tribe through initiatives that promote traditional arts, language revitalization, and cultural education.


3. Community Development:

o Foster sustainable community development by supporting infrastructure projects, environmental conservation efforts, and economic empowerment programs.


Activities

The Mathias El Tribe Charitable Trust engages in the following activities:

  • Educational Programs:
    • Providing scholarships, tutoring services, and educational resources to promote       academic success and lifelong learning.
  • Healthcare Initiatives:
    • Offering healthcare clinics, wellness workshops, and preventative care services to       improve health outcomes within the community.
  • Economic Development Projects:
    • Supporting small business development, job training programs, and micro-finance       initiatives to create economic opportunities and alleviate poverty.
  • Cultural Events:
    • Organizing cultural festivals, workshops, and exhibitions to showcase the vibrant       traditions and customs of the Mathias El Tribe.
  • Social Services:
    • Offering social support services, including counseling and advocacy for vulnerable       populations within communities.


Governance

The Mathias El Tribe Charitable Trust operates under the guidance of a Board of Trustees, composed of tribal members and community representatives. The Board oversees the strategic direction, policies, and activities of the trust, ensuring transparency, accountability, and adherence to our charitable mission.


Compliance

The Mathias El Tribe Charitable Trust is committed to complying with all applicable laws within ‘The State of Mathias El’, regulations, and ethical standards governing charitable organizations. We maintain transparency in our financial reporting and adhere to best practices in governance and management.
