Join The Mathias El Tribe in making a difference!

Peace, Light, Love.

This is Chief of the Mathias El Tribe, Mathew Allen McCaster. I’ve established a political organization designed to uphold the rights and identities of Indigenous Americans, particularly those descended from the West Indies—what is now known as the Southeastern United States. This organization is registered as a Section 527 tax-exempt entity, created to defend and advance our collective rights.

One of the key objectives of this movement is to ensure that our people have the same opportunities as other tribal communities, particularly regarding access to Indian Health Services and other essential programs. We are working to ensure our communities qualify under the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (Public Law 93-638 of 1975), which allows tribes to contract with the federal government for healthcare, education, and other services that benefit their people.

Executive Order 14112 acknowledges that tribes defined under the ISDEAA, including any Indian tribe, band, group, or Pueblo eligible to receive special services because of their status as Indian, have a government-to-government relationship with the U.S. This Executive Order also mandates that federal agencies are required to recognize and respect these relationships in their dealings with tribal communities. Our goal is to ensure that our communities align with this framework, so we can access the same resources, protections, and opportunities to sustain our cultural heritage and future generations.

I’m seeking individuals who understand the importance of working together in a team environment. Most of our communications will happen via email, group messages, and Zoom meetings, especially as we build towards broader objectives. The vision is to establish centers across different cities and states, where we can organize, strategize, and build together.

Alongside this political organization, I also run a nonprofit. Many of you may already have your own nonprofits or movements that reflect your own unique objectives. I'm not asking you to divert from your path or take on this work as a second job. However, I believe many of you, like me, have been led by the spirit of our ancestors, looking for a way out of the system that has entrapped our people for so long.

For those asking how to get involved with this political movement, here’s what to do. If you’re interested, send me an email at NIACunity@gmail.com. In your message, include your name, where you're from, a little about your background, and how you feel you can contribute to this movement.

Right now, we’re in the early stages, so there’s no direct source of income. But with a tax-exempt entity and a network of level-headed, dedicated individuals, I’m confident we can come together and find ways to generate income to support our movement.

I’ve been receiving visions and premonitions lately, and I’ve noticed that we are in the midst of a spiritual warfare. The same spirits that oppressed our ancestors continue to attack us today, just as they did before. But we won’t allow them to win. They won’t defeat us or our children. The time to act is now.

The National Indigenous American Committee (NIAC) was formed to protect and preserve the rights and identities of Indigenous Americans. If this resonates with you, tap in and let’s build together.
